General Description |
Provide needed amounts of folic acid and iodine for during pregnancy and lactation and time of planning to become pregnant. -Provide iodide for improving brain development, hearing loss and visual acuity of the child. -Provide folic acid amounts required to reduce the risk of neural tube defects in babies (e.g. spina bifida). |

Side Effects |
Like all drug or supplemets, IOD-MOM® tablets can cause side effects, although not everybody experiences them. Tell your doctor if you notice any of the following side effects, they get worse or you notice any adverse effect not listed below: • Allergic reaction (hypersensitivity) e.g. itchy/red skin, rash. • Severe allergic reaction (anaphylactic reaction) – swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat or difficulty in breathing or swallowing, shock (cold sweaty skin, weak pulse, dry mouth, dilated pupils). • Decrease level of vitamin B12 in the serum. |

Direction of use |
Always take IOD-MOM® tablets exactly as your doctor has told you. If you are not sure, check with your doctor or pharmacist. Swallow the tablets with water. |

Warnings |
Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking IOD-MOM® tablets if you: • have a thyroid dysfunction • have any disease that reduces the amount of vitamin B12 in the body. |
