Identification of a new vaccine-resistant COVID variant

A new type of Japanese coronavirus in a Kentucky nursing home infected 45 residents and health care personnel, all of whom had received both doses of the vaccine.

According to The Independent, a new type of Japanese coronavirus in a Kentucky nursing home infected 45 residents and health care workers, all of whom had received both doses of the vaccine, according to The Independent. The R.1 species, which originated in Japan, contain five unique mutations and transmit the highly infectious D614G mutation, which is found in other strains of the corona virus such as delta, alpha, beta and gamma.
Dr. William Hasseltin, a former professor at Harvard Medical School and an infectious disease specialist, said in an article published in Forbes that R.1 is one-sided because it has so far left its mark in Japan and the United States.
This vaccine-resistant strain can easily cross the immune system and bypass antibodies. According to CDC analysis, there are concerns about reduced protective immunity of vaccines against R.1.

According to experts, the corona virus mutation has several consequences by affecting the antibodies of vaccinated people. According to existing databases, this strain has infected more than 10,000 people worldwide.
